Commuters will get lunch and dinner during camp but are expected to have breakfast on their own.

Roommates & Room assignments
At this point in time, we will no longer be taking roommate requests.  Names and roommate preferences (based on registration details we have received) have been submitted to the housing department. Room assignments will be given during check-in. Rooms accommodate 2 campers.

Dorm Move-out & Checkout-July 14th
Checkout will begin at 10:30am on Monday. Check-out will be held at West Residence Halls and will be staggered. Another email will be sent prior to check out with check out procedure & specific check out times for your camper’s group.

Additional Camp Info
The first camp meal is dinner on Friday, July 11th evening, so please remember, to have lunch before you get to check-in. Residential campers will receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Saturday & Sunday, and breakfast on Monday. You will receive a camp itinerary at check-in.

Medical Form
Any camper that has an injury or medical condition that our trainers/nurse should be made aware of, an allergy, needs to bring an epipen, inhaler, and any medications needs to complete the medical form provided in the previous email if you haven’t already previously provided it to us. You will be able to speak with the trainers/nurse directly at check-in. There is a possibility we may need to reach out to anyone who needs an individual care plan per state camp licensing requirements. Our staff/camp nurse will reach out to those individuals prior to camp.

Hydration
The week is expected to be hot so we wanted to make sure that everyone starts to hydrate soon. The hydration process should begin 48 hours in advance of the camp and should be kept up with each day. In order for each player to get the most out of camp they should consume at least 64 ounces of water throughout the day and if you can handle more than the 64 ounces even better that should be a minimum, and as mentioned above, it should be consumed throughout the day, not quick large amounts, but slow consistent amounts. We will also have plenty of water and ice on hand on all the fields.

Camp Banks
In addition, please remember that you can set up a camp bank for your child at check-in, so that they can purchase items in the camp store throughout the camp during the day and in the evenings, including snacks /drinks/ gear etc. Campers will also have an option to purchase a post-match meal after the last session which will be pizza (exploring other options as well). Since we do not want any non-camp personnel around campers for safety reasons, we will not allow campers to order through food delivery services, i.e DoorDash, GrubHub, UberEats, etc. Please bring CASH to put into your child's camp bank, so that we are able to return everyone’s camp bank balances at the end of the week in cash. Having a camp bank helps prevent any money from being lost or stolen. Any unused camp bank money can be picked up at checkout. We highly recommend setting up a camp bank for your child. Most parents put anywhere from $30-$100 in their child's camp bank.

Campers Driving Themselves
Please let us know ASAP if your camper is driving themselves to camp. We will require your camper to surrender their car keys at check in and they will be returned upon check out. Additional info will be sent on where your camper may park during camp and the additional cost to park.

Key Deposit
Upon check in, we will require a key deposit in case it is lost. The deposit fee is $100 for the key. The deposit may be provided in form of a check or cash. If writing a check, please have it made out to Chris Gbandi Soccer Academy.

At check-out, the deposit will be returned once the room key has been turned in. *New for this year, we will not require a meal card deposit.

Room Damage
On the last day your child's room will be inspected by their coach, if there is damage, you have already provided authorization in your online registration to have a damage fee of $60 charged to your account on file.
